Saint Vitus is the highest peak of the island and offers excellent tourist and excursion destinations. Peak is located an altitude of 348 meters above the sea level where the church was built in honor of the St. Vitus.
From the top you can see the majority of the island’s towns (Pag, Kolan, Šimuni, Mandre, Košljun.), you can also see the neighboring islands (Rab, Mali Lošinj, Silba, Olib, Maun, Lukar …)
The peak of St. Vitus can be reached with several marked hiking trails: from Dubrava (Pag) vertical climb to the top (about 45 minutes) or from Kolan gentle climb that takes about an hour. Newly constructed trail from Stari Šimuni provides access to the St. Vitus by car.
